William Royce – President & Creative Director

William is the visionary founder of Undsrvd, a veteran-founded nonprofit dedicated to supporting mental health and well-being through creative outlets. A retired US Army veteran, William served 10 years, including 18 months in Iraq. These personal experiences profoundly shaped his understanding of the mental health challenges many veterans face daily.

With over two decades in design and apparel, William honed his craft at the Art Institute of NYC and Los Angeles, continuing graduate studies at the University of Texas at Dallas. He is also a certified art therapy practitioner, integrating this unique skill into Undsrvd's mission. Beyond Undsrvd, William also designed the organization's fashion brand, offering quality clothing inspiring the slogan: "Healing through art, funded by fashion." Every purchase directly contributes to creating programs and avenues for assisting in veteran mental health treatment.

Outside of his creative work and commitment to Undsrvd, William dedicates his time to community outreach, including feeding and clothing the unhoused in Houston. His diverse experiences—from military service to creative endeavors, therapeutic practices, and hands-on community support—all converge to allow him to serve those in need in a truly impactful way.
